The collection of ceramics at JMB Gallery come from various parts of Mexico. The Talavera pottery of Puebla is a type of majolica pottery, which is distinguished by a milky-white glaze. Authentic Talavera pottery only comes from the city of Puebla, because of the quality of the natural clay found there and the tradition of production which goes back to the 16th century. Majolica pottery was bought over by the Spanish and is still considered the finest quality. Choose from the classical blue and white design or the multicolored mix and match colors.

We also have our exclusive designed pottery from the state of Guanajuato called our JMB line and Campestre from Michoacan, contemporary looks while still lead free, microwave and dishwasher safe. Each unique piece in our Mexico collection is made by hand in the style of old-world craftsmen to produce warm and welcoming furniture that is solidly built to last a lifetime. The reclaimed wood is milled and graded, fumigated, kiln-dried, then stained and sealed for protection. The unique texture of the wood comes from decades of natural weathering and is the basis for this stunning line of rustic furniture. Antique reds and greens combined with copper have a dramatic look. Many pieces can be customer made to suit a particular style and size.
